We know you've got 'em.

Stuffed in a shoebox up in your mom's attic, collecting dust ... just waiting to be displayed at the 10-year reunion.

We need those pictures!

Our DJ for the evening will be running a photo/video montage while he is crankin' da hits and bringin da' noise. Ahem -- sorry. Early '90s relapse. But seriously, we want the photos that are on display to represent ALL of the people we graduated with -- because if not, we'll basically be stuck with 147 pictures of Drason, including, but not limited to: discarded senior portrait proofs, sweaty post-practice football pictures, pictures of him doing the lame, open-mouthed, "seafood" trick with his cafeteria lunch ... you get the picture. It won't be pretty. So please! Send us some pictures!

They can be school-related or not, flattering to the friends in them or not, with embarassing prom hair or without... but we will need to get them from you BEFORE July 12 in order for them to be included, because we have to send them to the DJ ahead of time.

Remember that you can scan them and send them via email to, or you can mail them to Drason at:

Dickson Class of 1998
c/o Drason Beasley
1032 Persimmon Drive
Spring Hill, TN 37174

Also, another reminder that to get the $30 discounted price for tickets, you'll need to send your check to that same address by July15.

We're five weeks away -- be sure to spread the word to all the '98 grads you see!

Cutest Kid Contest!

Got kids?

If so, we'd like to showcase them at the reunion!
Since the party will be adults only, we'd love to be able to show off all of the wee little ones that have been born to our fellow grads... and because we have a mean competitive streak, we thought we'd turn it into a "Cutest Kid Contest."

To enter your little guy or girl, simply send us a picture that shows off their adorable-ness. We will display all of the photos on the night of the reunion, and all attendees will cast their votes for the Cutest Kid. Kids of all ages are welcome; winners will be announced the night of the reunion.

You can send us those cute kid pics in two ways:
1) Email a .jpg or .tif file of the picture to our class reunion email address at:

Be sure in your email to include the kids' names, your name (including maiden name for you married mamas) and your spouse's name, if applicable.

2) Label your pictures (kids' names, parents' names, etc.) and send a copy (since we can't promise to get the pics back to you) of your photos to:

For those of you who still haven't paid for your tickets and want to get the discount price (must be paid by July 15), you can kill two birds with one stone and include a check for $30/person with your pictures.

The fierce competitors in the photo above are (from left to right):
Evan Anderson Pevahouse... son of Matt & Shelley (Brock) Pevahouse
Annie Marie Jones... daughter of Daniel and Jamie (Bullington) Jones
Aubree Lane Reynolds... daughter of Brett and Caryn (Petty) Reynolds, and
Beckham Davis Weed... son of Ryan and Keli (Woodard) Weed

Get a Room...

If you plan on tipping 'em back like this guy...

...or if you and your schmoopie would just like to enjoy a night away from the kids, plan on booking a room for after the reunion at the inn at Montgomery Bell.

They are currently reserving a block of rooms for members of the class of '98. The group rate is $78 (be sure to mention that you're with the reunion to get the discount).

Call (615) 797-3101 to book a room today.

Rooms must be reserved before June 15, 2008. After that, they will open all remaining reserved rooms to the public, and since August is a popular month for the park, it is unlikely that rooms will be available last-minute.

Book today to make sure your reunion celebration goes all night long!

You Oughtta Be in Pictures...

We want YOU ... to send us photos. Throughout the reunion, we'll be flashing pictures (like the artistic image shown above) of the good ol' days at DCHS. So send us your pictures -- no, not your embarassing 11th-grade school picture taken by the pirate photographer at Freeman's with the white poofy sleeves -- but any candid snapshots of you and your friends from high school: goofing off, going to prom, playing sports, dressing up for random basketball week contests, etc. Remember: the more pictures we have, the more people we can point and laugh at.

Please send COPIES of your pictures, as we cannot promise you that we'll be able to get the originals back to you. Mail them to:

Dickson Class of 1998
c/o Drason Beasley
1032 Persimmon Drive
Spring Hill, TN 37174

If you happen to have digital files (though we can't imagine who would've used digital back in 1998), you can send those as .jpeg files to

Can't wait to see how everyone has changed!

Show Us the Money!

That's right, people, cough it up... before summer gas prices give you a reason to back out.

We're now officially selling tickets to the TEN-YEAR REUNION on August 2nd, 2008. Tickets will be $30 per person if you purchase in advance (see below), $35 per person if you pay at the door.

That's right ... paying in advance will save you five bucks -- which will buy you a whopping
one gallon of gasoline. Or 5 Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers. Your choice.

To get in on this sweet deal, make your checks payable to Dickson Class of 1998 and mail them to:

Remember the Good Ol' Days?

Well, it's time to relive them ... minus the goofy hats.

We're working hard to plan the kind of reunion party where even
this guy could cut loose and have a good time. Here are the details so far:

Date: August 2, 2008
Place: Montgomery Bell State Park
Time: 6:30 pm - 11:00 p.m.

We'll serve heavy hors d'oeuvres (that's "appetizers" for you Vanleer folk) and have a cash bar for those of you who enjoy adult beverages. There will be music, mingling, and lots of embarassing old photos. Mark your calendars today!
